This policy explains what information Spin of Wheels ("we", "us") handles when you usespinofwheels.com (the "site"), and your choices. In short: the wheels run entirely in your browser, and what you put on them stays on your device.

1. Information stored on your device

To remember your wheels between visits, the site saves the following in your browser's storage:

• Wheel entries, titles, settings (such as theme and sound), and results history, for each wheel page.
• Class lists you save on the classroom wheel.
• Background pictures you add. Pictures are resized in your browser, and hidden photo data such as location is removed.

This information is not sent to us or to anyone else. You can delete it at any time with the Clear and Reset buttons on each wheel, or by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.

2. Share links

When you press Share, your wheel's entries and settings are packed into the link itself, after the "#" sign. Browsers don't send that part of a link to our server. Anyone you give the link to can see the wheel's contents, so only share links with people you trust with that information. Pictures and results are never included.

3. Information collected when you visit

Like almost every website, our hosting provider automatically processes technical information needed to deliver pages securely, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This is used for security and reliability, such as protecting against attacks, and is kept only as long as needed.

The site does not currently use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. If we add analytics or advertising in the future, we'll update this policy first and, where the law requires it (for example in the UK and the European Economic Area), ask for your consent before any such cookies are set.

4. Children

The site is suitable for use in schools and at home, and does not ask anyone for personal information. Teachers and parents stay in control: names on a wheel never leave the device they were typed on.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the UK GDPR, the EU GDPR and US state privacy laws), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information about you, and to object to certain uses. Because wheel data stays on your device, you can exercise most of these rights directly in your browser. For anything else, contact us using the details below.

We'll update this page if our practices change, and change the "Last updated" date at the top.
