How to use the truth or dare wheel

  1. 1Gather your players and choose who is playing in the Game tab: Kids, Teens or Adults (mild).
  2. 2The first player presses SPIN.
  3. 3The wheel lands on Truth or Dare and shows a prompt to answer or do.
  4. 4Pass the phone or keyboard to the next player and spin again.
  5. 5Want to write your own? Add your own truths and dares as entries in the Entries tab.

A party classic with a spin

Truth or dare is simple: each player chooses to answer a question honestly or take on a challenge. The wheel adds suspense, since nobody knows which way it will land, and gives you a new prompt every turn, so there's no awkward pause while someone thinks one up.

Three modes

  • Kids: animal impressions, silly songs and favorite things.
  • Teens: playlists, apps, school stories and funny challenges.
  • Adults (mild): karaoke confessions, dramatic toasts and harmless fun.

Play safe and kind

  • Never pressure anyone into a truth or dare they don't want.
  • Keep dares safe: nothing dangerous, nothing that damages property.
  • Ask before sharing photos or messages from anyone's phone.

House rules that keep the game fun

Before the first spin, agree a few house rules together. Decide how many passes each player gets, whether a player who skips a dare must answer a truth instead, and where dares can happen (for example, nobody leaves the room). Clear rules stop arguments and make shy players feel more comfortable joining in.

For bigger groups, combine wheels: use the wheel of names to choose who goes next, then spin this wheel for truth or dare. For a calmer version with younger children, stay in Kids mode and add your own gentle dares, like giving someone a compliment or doing a happy dance. The aim is laughter, not embarrassment.

Frequently asked questions

Is the truth or dare wheel family friendly?

Yes. Every prompt in every mode is clean. Kids mode is gentle and silly, Teens mode is about school and everyday life, and Adults (mild) is grown-up party humor without anything explicit.

What if someone doesn't want to answer or do a dare?

Agree a rule before you start, such as allowing one pass per player, or swapping to the other option. A good game is one where everyone feels comfortable, so skipping should always be okay.

Can I add my own truths and dares?

Yes. Add your own questions or challenges as entries and the wheel will spin them. To get built-in prompts, keep Truth and Dare on the wheel.

How many people can play?

Any number. It works for two friends, a sleepover, a classroom or a party. Take turns spinning, or use the wheel of names to choose who goes next.
